At SolarWinds, we’re a people-first company. Our purpose is to enrich the lives of the people we serve—including our employees, customers, shareholders, partners, and communities. Join us in our mission to help customers accelerate business transformation with simple, powerful, and secure solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in an innovative, fast-paced environment and is collaborative, accountable, ready, and empathetic. We’re looking for individuals who believe they can accomplish more as a team and create lasting growth for themselves and others. We hire based on attitude, competency, and commitment. Solarians are ready to advance our world-class solutions in a fast-paced environment and accept the challenge to lead with purpose. If you’re looking to build your career with an exceptional team, you’ve come to the right place. Join SolarWinds and grow with us! We work in a hybrid mode 3+2, with a minimum of 3 days at the office (with mandatory Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and a maximum of 2 days at the home office. The location of our office is Holandská 873/6, Brno – Štýřice, 639 00. We employ only via an employment contract – full-time employment (HPP). Overview We’re looking for a Staff Security Engineer to set technical direction for Threat & Vulnerability Management (TVM) and reduce risk across the enterprise. This is a hands-on technical leadership role: you’ll turn noisy security telemetry into prioritized action, build scalable remediation capabilities, and influence Engineering, IT, Cloud, and Security teams without relying on direct authority. You’ll evolve TVM beyond scanning and compliance into a measurable, continuous risk-reduction program spanning cloud, infrastructure, endpoints, applications, and software delivery. What you’ll do Define the TVM strategy, roadmap, operating standards, and architecture for vulnerability discovery, prioritization, remediation, exceptions, and validation. Establish risk-based prioritization using exploitability, active exploitation and threat intelligence (including KEV and EPSS), reachability, asset criticality, and business context. Lead cross-team remediation of urgent and systemic exposures; help engineering teams balance risk, technical debt, and product reliability. Build integrations and automation across scanners, asset inventories, cloud platforms, CI/CD, ticketing, and security systems to improve ownership, routing, evidence collection, and validation. Translate emerging threats and MITRE ATT&CK techniques into exposure assessments, hunts, detections, and actionable guidance. Lead rapid zero-day assessments and serve as a Tier 3 escalation point or Incident Commander for major events. Define executive metrics that show risk reduction—such as remediation time for exploited flaws, mission-critical exposure, asset coverage, and overdue high-risk findings—and communicate clear decisions and trade-offs. Mentor engineers and establish repeatable practices that improve security outcomes across teams. What you’ll bring Extensive experience in security engineering, SecOps, or vulnerability management, with Staff-level technical leadership and organization-wide influence. Deep hands-on experience with enterprise platforms such as Tenable, Qualys, or Rapid7, and a record of improving the full vulnerability lifecycle. Experience applying TVM across cloud, containers, endpoints, infrastructure, and CI/CD workflows; familiarity with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. Strong risk judgment across exploitability, exposure, asset context, and threat intelligence; able to explain practical risk to engineers and executives. Ability to automate and analyze security data using Python, PowerShell, SQL, or equivalent, including APIs and data integrations. Practical knowledge of NIST CSF and MITRE ATT&CK, plus experience leading complex incident or vulnerability response. Demonstrated ability to influence across teams, mentor others, and build capabilities that scale beyond individual execution. Preferred Threat hunting, detection engineering, penetration testing, or exploit-analysis experience; certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GEVA, CCSP, or a cloud security certification; or equivalent education and experience. Why this role Shape how the organization reduces vulnerability risk at scale. Measure success by exposure eliminated, stronger remediation practices, and improved readiness for emerging threats—not by the number of reports produced. Our benefits: 25 days of vacation per year 3 sick days per year 10 study days per year 2 volunteering days per year 4 weeks’ holidays after 5-year tenure, Sabbatical Leave Up to 48 300CZK personal education budget per year Pension or life insurance matching donation up to 3% of the salary or 4000 CZK per month Cash allowance for meals of 95 CZK per working day Unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning English/Czech classes Multisport card Solarian Referral Program SolarWinds Appreciation Program Giving – Donation Matching Employee Assistance Competitive Race Reimbursement Breakfast on Wednesdays Fresh fruits and snacks on Mondays SolarWinds is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer. Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way. The Community You Will Join: The Quality Lead for Global English supports the largest segment of Airbnb's Community Support partner network, the Global English Volume Tier. This lead oversees the day-to-day quality operation across multiple BPO partners, spanning Resolutions 1, 2, and 3, Dedicated Service Support, Services & Experiences, Dedicated Managed Host Support, and Review Integrity, across roughly 5,000+ GE-language agents globally. The Difference You Will Make: This is an execution and leadership role. The Quality Lead is responsible for making the quality program work on the ground: ensuring partner QA teams are calibrated and accountable, translating quality standards into partner behavior, surfacing performance trends early, and driving the actions that close gaps. This Lead will also mentor a group of Partner Quality Leads, who work directly with partners to manage and drive performance; this individual will also work directly with Quality Leaders across our different partners supporting Global English. This Lead will direct the focus and energy of these teams toward what matters, remove blockers, help address areas of opportunity, and hold the overall GE quality program to a consistent standard. A Typical Day: GE Quality Program Execution Own the day-to-day execution of the GE quality program across all Volume Tier service lines (R1, R2, R3, DSS, S&E, DMHS, RIT) and all GE partner sites. Ensure weekly QA evaluation targets are met across all sites and service lines; monitor evaluation completeness, calibration accuracy, and coaching activity within the GE portfolio. Maintain the weekly QA performance reporting cadence, ensuring partner QA teams and Partner Operations Managers receive timely, accurate, and actionable quality data each week. Partner Network Governance & Accountability Hold GE partner QA teams accountable to the Performance Scorecard results: Agent Saturation Targets, Evaluation Completeness, Calibration Accuracy, Coaching Effectiveness, Actionable Insights. Maintain regular engagement with Partner Quality teams: weekly alignment cadences and alignment on monthly business reviews results and actions. Escalate partner performance gaps and establish documented action plans where warranted; escalation to the Sr. Leadership for situations that require escalation. Manage the New Site Onboarding process for any new GE partner sites that come online, ensuring they are calibrated to GE quality standards before they scale. Calibration & Alignment Conduct calibration sessions across GE partner sites; ensure calibration rigor, so that GE quality is being measured consistently regardless of partner or geography. Drive QA alignment across Quality and Delivery teams. Insights, NPS Correlation & the AQS North Star Oversee NPS Detractor Analysis Insights, to identify drivers of dissatisfaction; work with Delivery, Training, and other stakeholders to address areas of opportunity. Correlate quality results to operational outcomes and KPIs; place quality focus and emphasis accordingly, based on operational measures that require attention. Ensure GE quality insights are integrated into the weekly partner performance narrative: when scores drop week-over-week, understand drivers and root cause; be able to explain in weekly reviews. Cross-Functional Initiatives Partner with the GE Training team on critical initiatives, such as Training Flight Simulator and AirReady; Quality's role is to ensure training artifacts related to Quality are aligned to to our Lead With Hospitality framework. Participate as the GE quality voice in cross-functional working groups, where quality findings have direct implications for process or content change. Surface patterns from GE evaluations that signal policy gaps, workflow failures, or product issues — not just agent-level coaching opportunities. When the same investigation error appears across three different partner sites in the same week, that is a systemic issue that belongs in OneTrack, not a coaching note. Reporting & Operational Cadences Own the GE contribution to the global Quality reporting framework: weekly KPI data by site and language (NPS, Reopen Rate, AQS, 0–60, Throughput) submitted accurately and on time as part of the automated reporting rollout, replacing the current manual slide validation process. Ensure GE partner sites are submitting their own KPI narratives with substance — not high-level summaries or incorrect figures. The QI Lead's job is to verify narrative quality, not just numbers; this role's job is to ensure that standard is held across all five partner networks. Maintain the GE calendar of quality touchpoints: weekly partner performance reviews, monthly calibration sessions, monthly partner business reviews, and quarterly COPC-style partner capability assessments — and ensure the QI Lead team is prepared and present for each. Your Expertise: 8+ years of experience in Community/Customer Support Quality, Operations, or a related field, with direct experience managing QA programs across BPO or partner networks. Bachelor's Degree, preferably in related field required. Demonstrated experience driving partner BPO accountability: running calibration sessions, managing partner QA scorecards, writing and executing improvement plans, and holding BPO QA managers to performance standards in a governance context. Working knowledge of COPC methodology; able to apply COPC evaluation standards, sampling requirements, and calibration governance in a live multi-partner operational environment. Strong analytical skills: able to read weekly QA performance data, diagnose root causes behind score movements (tenure mix, calibration drift, form changes, workflow updates), and translate that diagnosis into a clear narrative for Delivery and partner leadership. Experience with QA tooling platforms — Observe.AI, NICE QC, or equivalent — including form design, calibration management, and partner site onboarding. Excellent written and verbal communication; able to write a sharp partner performance email, run a productive calibration session across time zones, and present quality findings to senior Delivery stakeholders with confidence. Preferred Experience in a BPO or multi-site QA role, either in-house at a BPO or as a client-side quality manager managing multiple BPO partners simultaneously. Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent structured problem-solving background. Background working with analytics teams on QA-to-NPS or QA-to-CSAT correlation analysis; experience using AQS (Ambassador Quality Score) or equivalent composite agent performance metrics. Familiarity with cross-functional quality improvement programs — investigation skills initiatives, coaching ambassador programs, agent messaging tone efforts — and experience coordinating quality's role in multi-team rollouts. About the role We're looking for a Backend Engineer to join our Repository Services team in GitLab's Create stage. The team owns the repository side of Source Code: how code gets into a repository, who may change it, and how those changes are verified. We build this as an access layer on the primitives the Gitaly team provides, for GitLab's own features and for the artificial intelligence agents now writing and pushing code alongside people. You'll work in one of GitLab's oldest and most complex product areas, using Ruby and GraphQL across GitLab.com, self-managed instances, and GitLab Dedicated. Repository Services is a new team, and its first months are about reliability and support, so you'll spend real time on performance and structured query language tuning, caching, rate limiting, testing, observability, and resiliency, with experienced team members to lean on. You'll collaborate with product management, product design, testing, security, user experience research, technical writing, Gitaly, Code Review, and the other Source Code teams. What you'll do Develop secure, well-tested, performant features and improvements using Ruby and GraphQL. Work through complex requirements and legacy constraints to deliver clear solutions while protecting the reliability of this critical system. Design and maintain backend services, application programming interfaces, data models, and business logic that control how code reaches a repository, who may change it, and how it is verified. Build on the primitives Gitaly provides and work closely with the Gitaly team. Triage and fix bugs and support requests for the features the team owns. Collaborate across functions and teams, both asynchronously and synchronously, and involve domain experts when their input will improve the outcome. Use artificial intelligence agents for well-scoped work when they can speed up delivery without sacrificing quality, and critically review their output. Write maintainable code that follows GitLab's standards and contribute to constructive code reviews. Help strengthen reliability by monitoring production health metrics, participating in Tier 2 on-call, troubleshooting incidents, contributing to root cause analysis, and improving observability and resiliency. Share knowledge through code review, technical documentation, and everyday collaboration while learning from others. What you'll bring Professional experience building backend web applications, services, or application programming interfaces, with experience using Ruby and GraphQL. An understanding of relational databases, structured query language, data modeling, caching, background processing, and backend performance practices. Experience contributing to user-facing workflows and maintaining their underlying systems. Experience writing backend unit and integration tests, with familiarity with the testing pyramid, Git, and collaborative code review processes. Experience using artificial intelligence coding agents and reviewing their output, or an interest in building these skills in a complex monorepo. Clear written and spoken English communication skills, including sharing useful status updates in a remote, asynchronous environment. The ability to manage assigned priorities, work through ambiguity, take ownership of your work, and seek guidance when needed. About Wolt At Wolt, we create technology that brings joy, simplicity and earnings to the neighborhoods of the world. In 2014 we started with delivery of restaurant food. Now we’re building the delivery of (almost) everything and you’ll find us in over 500 cities in 30 countries around the world. In 2022 we joined forces with DoorDash and together we keep on dreaming big and expanding across the globe. Working at Wolt isn’t always easy, but it’s definitely exciting. Here you’ll learn more, build more, and ship more than in most other companies. You’ll be challenged a lot, but also have a lot of fun on the way. So, if you’re a self-starter with drive and entrepreneurial spirit, this could be the ride of your life. About the Team Merchant EMEA Engineering builds the technology that helps merchants join, grow, and operate successfully across our markets. Our organization brings together the strengths of Wolt and Deliveroo and supports merchants across 37 countries. We work across the merchant journey, including onboarding, business growth and support, analytics and recommendations, menu and order management, integrations, and merchant applications. Our teams sit close to the business. Rather than primarily building foundational platforms, we build products and features on top of our existing platforms to solve real merchant and market needs, including local business requirements, growth opportunities, and operational challenges. 📍This open role is based in our tech hubs in Helsinki or Berlin. Please note: This role requires being based in Berlin/Helsinki on a hybrid basis. We are currently unable to offer fully remote work, visa sponsorship, or relocation support for this opportunity. What You'll Do As a Fullstack Engineer, you'll contribute to products and services used across the merchant experience. You'll: Build and maintain production software across backend services and user-facing applications. Work on areas such as merchant onboarding, analytics, recommendations, menu and order management, integrations, or merchant-facing tools. Develop reliable APIs, data models, services, and user-facing features. Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, operations, and other engineers to turn business needs into practical technical solutions. Own features from implementation through production and ongoing maintenance. Contribute to technical design discussions and improve the quality, scalability, observability, and maintainability of our systems. Use AI-assisted development tools effectively as part of your engineering workflow, while critically evaluating their output and taking ownership of the final solution. Be willing to work outside your primary area of expertise when needed to solve the problem end-to-end. How We Work Ownership: Engineers take responsibility for the features and services they work on, from development to production. Collaboration: We work closely across engineering, product, design, data, and operations. Pragmatism: We value simple and maintainable solutions that create business impact without unnecessary complexity. Flexibility: We care more about solving the problem than strict frontend or backend boundaries. Our Tech Stack Our backend services primarily use Go and Kotlin, while our frontend applications use technologies such as TypeScript and React. We also work with technologies including Kafka, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, gRPC, and modern cloud infrastructure. Our Humble Expectations We're looking for engineers who have: An AI-first mindset, with a deep experience in leveraging modern AI tools and solid engineering principles to solve problems end-to-end, independently of any specific technology stack. Proven experience building production software in backend, frontend, or fullstack environments end-to-end and at scale. Strong expertise in at least one area of the stack, with a willingness to contribute outside that area when needed. Experience with a modern backend language such as Go, Kotlin, Java, or similar, and/or modern frontend technologies such as TypeScript and React. Good understanding of APIs, databases, testing, and software design fundamentals. The ability to work independently on well-scoped problems and collaborate effectively with others. Good communication skills and a pragmatic, collaborative mindset. You do not need to be equally strong in frontend and backend. We welcome different balances of experience. You might be primarily a backend engineer who is comfortable making frontend changes when needed, or a frontend-focused engineer who is happy to work with APIs and backend services. What matters most is that you are comfortable working across boundaries to deliver the right solution. Nice to Have Experience in one or more of the following areas would be a plus: Merchant-facing or internal operational tools. Analytics, recommendations, or decisioning systems. Grocery, retail, restaurants, logistics, or marketplace technology. Integrations with external business systems. Kafka or other streaming technologies. Cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Kubernetes, or Docker. Why Join Us? You'll work on products that directly affect how merchants interact with Wolt Deliveroo and DoorDash across Europe. The scope is broad and close to the business, giving you the opportunity to work on meaningful problems across different parts of the merchant journey while developing your skills across the stack. You can read more about our recruitment process here. here. Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion We’re committed to growing and empowering a more inclusive community within our company, industry, and cities. That’s why we hire and cultivate diverse teams of people from all backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Health can’t wait. Not for symptoms to get worse. Not for a six‑month appointment. Not for a system to catch up. But that’s exactly how healthcare works today. You wait, until you can’t. Alan exists to end the wait. Health is a universal right, and we believe this right can only become real when it’s coupled with prevention. We need to stop treating health as something we repair and start treating it as something we build, every day. It’s not solely a question of willpower. It’s the healthcare system itself that needs to work for everyone, in a sustainable way. So we are building the new standard in prevention insurance. Alan is the first company that integrates insurance, prevention, and care into a single, acclaimed user experience. We are on an incredible journey to build a global leading company, with a unique culture. We already partner with 40K+ companies of all sizes, serving more than 1M+ members, and have reached €800M+ in ARR. Prevention as the new norm. That's what we're building with our team of 1000+ people. If it speaks to you: we're hiring across France, Spain, Belgium, and Canada. And beyond. 📍 Paris, on-site 🗓 Early June to end of August 2027 🎓 Students (incl. Polytechnique 2nd-year internship) ⭐ THE PROGRAM ⭐ This summer, for the first time, Alan is bringing in a cohort of interns for a 3-month internship, from June to August. This program is for students whose curriculum includes a summer internship. This is not a "watch and learn" internship. Past interns and Founders Associates have shipped work that teams still use after they left: An AI tool searching the web for fake documents used in insurance fraud. The findings started a fraud-prevention pilot with a major French insurer. An automated system approving simple medical claims in one of Alan's international markets, with no manual review. An AI agent for sales reps. Cuts prep time before every prospect meeting with a personalized meeting brief and pitch. A national health insurance bid. It led to a new local company and its first General Manager hire. Launched a new insurance product, from the regulator application to in-app design and customer support. Took the product from idea to a regulator-ready launch. A public AI healthcare hackathon co-hosted with Mistral. Brought together top AI builders, with €10K+ in prizes and credits for the winners. This summer, it's your turn. ⭐ WHAT YOUR SUMMER LOOKS LIKE ⭐ Weeks 1 & 2 - team sprint: you build a shared project in a mixed squad with other interns. You meet several teams and see how Alan works as a whole. June to August - your project: you join a host team and own one project with a clear goal set from day one. At the end of August, you demo it to the company. All summer - the program: talks and workshops with Alan leaders including the CEO/CTO, weekly coffee chats with Alaners, and a mentor who helps you grow. You'll join one track, based on your interests, and the projects available across: Engineering Data & AI Product Design & Research Marketing Customer Care IT & Operations And more! ⭐ KEY OUTCOMES ⭐ By the end of August, you will have: Shipped a project that a real team uses, and demoed it to the company Built with AI, data and code on real problems: shipped AI agents, automations and analyses that go to production Worked closely with senior Alaners and Alan's leadership Met a cohort of sharp students from top schools in France and abroad Gained a 360° view of how a fast-growing company works Strong interns may be invited back to Alan after graduation, as a Founder Associate or full-time hire. ⭐ PROFILE & COMPETENCIES ⭐ You build. You code, or build seriously with AI tools, and you have something to show us: a tool, a prototype, a side project, a hackathon project. You learn fast. You're comfortable owning a project that isn't fully defined yet, and you figure things out before asking someone to show you. Analytical sense. You frame the right questions and break down problems clearly. High agency. When something is broken, your first instinct is to fix it. Clear writing. At Alan, we work in writing, in English. You need to be fluent. Growth mindset. You ask for feedback and use it. Available for 3 months, from June to end of August 2027. ⭐ THE PROCESS ⭐ We know you have other offers to weigh, so our process is designed to be efficient: Application (tell us about something you've built) A short call with the team to meet you A technical case Final fit interview Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. International students welcome. If you apply through a university program (Princeton IIP, MIT MISTI, Penn GRIP, Waterloo Co-op), mention it in your application. 🙌 PERKS & BENEFITS Competitive pay: €2,800 gross per month, well above the market rate for internships All the tools you need: MacBook Pro, monitor, noise-cancelling headphones A coach from day one: like every Alaner. Learn more about our coaching culture. Transport: commuter benefits IMPORTANT NOTE: WE HIRE PEOPLE, NOT ROLES. If you're excited about this opportunity but don't check every box, we'd love to hear from you. Everyone, no matter how underrepresented, should feel free to apply as it can only bring learnings or success. If you identify yourself as a woman: did you know that research shows women often apply only when meeting 100% of requirements? Remember, this is just a guide, not a checklist. We'll be thrilled to receive your application! 🔖 Check out our About Alan and Career pages, as well as our Medium, blog and Glassdoor page for more info.
