Job Description & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Installation and wiring of KNX components in switchboards (actuators, power supplies, gateways, IP routers, modules)
- Mounting and wiring of devices, labeling and documentation, inspection of bus and power cabling.
- Programming devices in ETS (physical addresses, group addresses, parameters), functional testing, setting scenes and logic
- Diagnostics during commissioning: fault finding on the bus and in the power section, wiring checks, troubleshooting in cooperation with installation personnel
- Integrating KNX with other systems (HVAC (cooling, heating), DALI lighting, blinds, security systems, mobile applications)
- Handover to the client, as-built documentation, client training

Requirements
- Education: secondary or higher education in an electrical/engineering field (vocational secondary school/technical secondary school in electrical, or university).
- Professional qualification: certificate at least according to § 21 (electrical technician) of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.; § 22 or § 23 is an advantage
- Experience with bus systems: at least 1 year of practical experience with KNX or another building bus system (e.g., Loxone, DALI, Modbus, BACnet, Nikobus, iNELS).
- Experience with electrical installations
- Driving license category B
- Technical mindset and systematic approach to problem solving
- Professional qualification: certificate at least according to § 21 (electrical technician) of Decree No. 508/2009 Coll.; § 22 or § 23 is an advantage
- Experience with bus systems: at least 1 year of practical experience with KNX or another building bus system (e.g., Loxone, DALI, Modbus, BACnet, Nikobus, iNELS).
